Having 3D ultrasound...Suggestions for a clear image?

Hi ladies. Im having my 3D ultrasound this Saturday. We hope to find out if it is a boy or girl!!! Its expensive %26amp; I want to make sure we get the best results. Any reccomendations before I go? The ultrasound tech told me to stay well hydrated %26amp; drink lots of fluids this week (Didnt say why, Im guessing for fresh %26amp; clear amniotic fluid for a clear image) Any other ideas? Someone suggested go with a full bladder. Is that true? Thank you :)Having 3D ultrasound...Suggestions for a clear image?
I had a level 2 ultrasound and several sonograms at the hospital and in my obgyn's office. For the level 2 (3 and 4d), they actually asked me not to drink or eat anything for 8 hours prior to the ultrasound. A full bladder can interfere with the picture apparently. Go to the bathroom right before you go in.

I got a perfect picture of my daughter's face in 4d - it's truly amazing. I hope you get some great ones!Having 3D ultrasound...Suggestions for a clear image?
I was always told to have an empty bladder first and it always helps.
Full bladder is helpful in the beginning, when baby is really tiny. If you are around 20 weeks, baby is big enough, so don't worry about it. And there isn't really anything you can do, it is your baby that has to be cooperative.
