Google's images are only high resolution in big, popular palces. You may not live in one of those. My hometown is so blurry you can't see any building.

Google earth consists of several images,and all of them are interlinked(ever notice sometimes that there are rectangular boundaries everywhere).Anyway,try zooming in closer,you'll find the town clearing up
it's only clear in large citys
