How to clear search history on image yayhoo?

To delete Search History from Yahoo! Toolbar%26gt;


%26gt;click on the down arrow located at the right end of the search bar


%26gt;click 'Options'


%26lt;click 'Clear Search History'


Or%26gt;%26gt;


%26gt;click on the pencil icon (next to the big red Y!)


%26gt;click 'Clear Search History'

To delete individual searches from 'History' using Windows IE6


%26gt;click 'History' (if not visable, click on the chevron ('%26gt;%26gt;'))


%26gt;click 'View'


%26gt;click 'By Order Visited Today'


%26gt;right click on search to be deleted (to highlight)


%26gt;click 'Delete'





To delete individual searches from drop down menu:


%26gt;hover pointer on search to highlight, then hit the 'delete' key on your keyboard.

To Clear Search History, Cookies, and Temporary Files:





If you have Windows IE6 browser:


At the top of your browser%26gt;

%26gt;click 'Internet Options'


At the 'General' tab, in the 'Temporary Internet files' section%26gt;


%26gt;click Delete Cookies'


%26gt;click 'OK'


%26gt;click 'Delete Files'


%26gt;check box '[/]Delete all offline content'


%26gt;click 'OK'


At the 'History' section%26gt;


%26gt;click 'Clear History'


%26gt;click 'Yes'





If you have Windows IE7 browser:


%26gt;click 'Tools'


%26gt;click 'Delete Browsing History'


%26gt;click 'Delete Cookies'


%26gt;click 'OK'





If you have Mozilla Firefox browser:


%26gt;click 'Tools'


%26gt;click 'Clear Private Data'


%26gt;click 'Delete Cookies'

%26gt;click the 'Privacy' tab.


%26gt;click the 'Clear' button (in the 'Saved Form Information' section)


If you don't want Firefox to save this data in the future, uncheck the box '[_]Save information I enter in web page forms and the Search Bar'

If you want to save your recent searches while you're searching on the Web, but automatically clear the saved searches when you close your browser window, do the following:

If you want to disable the feature entirely so none of your searches are saved, do the following:

To Disable AutoComplete in Windows IE6 browser:

%26gt;in 'Use AutoComplete for' section %26gt;


%26gt;uncheck all boxes


%26gt;click the 'Clear Forms' button.
