To take a clear picture of an image in a plane mirror?

should the camera be focused on the image or on the surface of the mirror? To take a clear picture of an image in a plane mirror?
The question is what do you want your viewer to focus on? If you want the viewer to focus on the subject (person in the mirror), then focus on the reflected subject. If you want the viewer to focus on the mirror itself, then focus on the mirror.

The one thing to be careful with is not to use the flash on your camera to light the scene. The mirror will reflect the flash right back into the lens, messing up your picture. You'll want your light to come off the side, or directed only on the subject. To take a clear picture of an image in a plane mirror?
Definitely on the ';thing'; you want to take a picture of.... otherwise you're looking at fingerprints, dust and scratches.
Both are in the same plane , my dear!
