I'd like to be able to take pictures far away and zoom in on it and clear it up like a deer or rabbit in the distance.Something similar to what police in cop shows use.What software package would contain image inhancement to allow me to clear up a part in the distance in focus?
You can try Gimp or Photoshop, but you'll be limited by the quality of the original image. The image enhancement software you see on TV isn't real. Images are made up of pixels, and you can only zoom so far before the image is nothing but blocks, and there's no way to change that. It's like trying to zoom in on a blurry analog image - blurry is blurry.
